The Security tab accommodates the LearningSpace system password and provides the necessary uploading fields for setting up secure access:

  • Upload certificate/Upload key:  Here you can upload an SSL certificate to set up secure connection. Using SSL you can encode messages between the users and the LearningSpace system so that others could not listen into the messages and gain information about the users and the LearningSpace system. For SSL secure access setup, an SSL certificate has to be acquired from the relevant authorities.

  • System password is necessary when configuring LearningSpace Ultraportable units: to set up your LearningSpace Ultraportable as a Satellite unit, first it needs to be licensed and then the Server address and the System password needs to be entered for synchronization.  For more information download Ultraportable System Setup Guide.
