This feature is to be used with in-campus audiovisual (AV) inputs. Hence, it is not available for CAE LearningSpace Enterprise Lite, as the solution is used for web-conferencing-based virtual simulation encounters only. To unlock this feature, please upgrade to the CAE LearningSpace Enterprise solution.


You can can save the positions of the pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) cameras installed in your simulation rooms.
PTZ presets can be set up in the live stream control panel of each PTZ camera after entering Single Room View (SRV).

Saving PTZ Presets

To access PTZ tools, click on the respective iconst in the lower right corner of the live stream panel.

After positioning your PTZ camera, save the current position as a preset:

  • Click the Select PTZ Preset drop-down. 
  • The formerly added positions appear in a list. 

  • Click into the Add new preset field.

  • Enter the name of the preset.

  • Click on the '+' to save.

Apply a PTZ Preset Position

  1. Enter Single Room View (SRV).
  2. Click the Select PTZ preset drop-down.
  3. Select a preset from the list. 
    The camera will automatically turn and zoom to the selected position.

    Each PTZ position is tied to the camera the position was created for. New PTZ positions become available in Camera Settings in the Cameras tab inside System.


Apply the Same Preset Position to Multiple Rooms

Create the same preset position in multiple rooms and name them the same to apply the same PTZ preset in an instance to the rooms on Center Overview - CO. Find out more here.
