Email Aliases

Before starting the one-time setup process, make sure you have as many email addresses ready as the number of virtual rooms you would like to configure.

Tip

Use your own email address as the primary address of your Zoom account, and then secondary email address—email aliases—to create virtual rooms in CAE LearningSpace.

About Email Aliases

Ask your IT support to create email aliases—secondary email addresses—to your own email address with names like med.osce.virtualroom1@uni.edu, med.osce.virtualroom2@uni.edu, etc., to easily identify your virtual rooms.
Set up as many email aliases as many virtual OSCE rooms you plan to configure.
Later on, you will register these email aliases as virtual rooms in CAE LearningSpace as the last step of the one-time Zoom integration process.

CAE LearningSpace takes care of saving the virtual rooms in Zoom so you only need to register them in the Rooms tab.

The number of virtual rooms you can configure for OSCE  Teleconferencing purposes depends on your Zoom subscription plan.
Aside from our recommendations, you can also check the subscription plans at Zoom’s Plans & Pricing page: https://zoom.us/pricing
