Access for users with Activity Manager privilege to read or edit any activity in the system is to be set up by sharing the desired activity or activities with the users. Sharing is determined for each activity on the Share tab of the Edit Activity pop-up of the particular activity.

There are two levels of access to an activity - granted in the corresponding panels:

Can read only - the user can open and see all details of the activity but cannot modify it

Can read and write - the user can see and edit all details and aspects of the activity

NOTE: By default, every user with Activity Manager privilege has read-only access to a newly created activity, and the user having created the activity is automatically given read-and-write access to the activity. Admins have unlimited access.

IMPORTANT: Users without any level of access to a particular activity will have the title of such an activity listed in the Activities panel, but will not be able to open the Edit Activity pop-up for that activity. Such activities are indicated with a padlock icon.

How to Withdraw Sharing of an Activity

To revoke access from one member, click the X next to the name of the user or group of users you want to withdraw the sharing from.

To revoke access from all members added to either share-level, click the red trash can icon in the bottom right corner of the relevant panel.

NOTE: If a user has read-only access to an activity, it is indicated with a padlock icon before the activity name in the Activities panel on the Activity Manager screen. If a user has no access whatsoever, the activity is not listed at all.
