Improvements in Transactions

Simplified Item Detection / No More Transaction Prerequisites

The transaction workflow will bypass the location and transaction assignee selection required up until now that preceded item detection. From now on users in charge of transactions will first land on the page of the item where afterward they can select a location

For a smoother workflow, as the first step of item detection for transactions bypasses location and transaction assignee selection. Users in charge of inventory transactions search by items where they can select the location of the item after their items have been detected. ....does not require anymore location or transaction assignee

New Cart Feature

Inventory managers can gather multiple items from various locations with the help of the new Cart feature to perform a selected transaction in one go.

A simple transaction initiated from the Transactions tab ties into a newly created cart.

Starting a new simple transaction (even if it's the same type) from the Transactions tab will discard your existing cart with all its contents.

Cart contents persist as long as inventory managers navigate inside the Inventory module. If a transaction is not finalized, their cart will be discarded when returning to the Dashboard.

Improvements in Location Management

New location fields are implemented in the Inventory module that allow inventory managers to set up storage locations in a more intricate manner/with a greater level of specificity.

Improvements in Setup Sheets

Inventory managers can effortlessly modify the contents of any Setup Sheet on the spot: not only they can

  • adjust the quantities of items already listed but they can also
  • make new additions to a Setup Sheet right before check-out.

Partial check-out is also supported which allows inventory managers to check-out the same Setup Sheet multiple times.

After a partial check-out, the users can return later to complete checking out the remaining items.
