IMPORTANT: There are two kinds of output for the Send to Screen function:
Content can only be uploaded either within an SCE (for the display monitor) or via Maestro (for the JUNO). In case of the former, for the content to be available, the SCE including that content has to be assigned to the recording. An SCE can only be linked to a recording through scheduling an event, as a consequence, Send to Screen feature is only possible via Event for recording. If a JUNO simulator is connected, content uploaded via Maestro will be available for sending. |
The following criteria have to be met for the function to be working:
Send to Screen function is only availabe for CAE Simulators, not for non-CAE (third-party) simulators. |
In the Room Settings pop-up, select the device intended to be used for displaying the content from the Send to Screen source drop-down(s).
NOTE: Monitors used for displaying content are treated as cameras in LearningSpace, therefore, connecting such a device has to be completed on the Cameras tab. |
IMPORTANT: The TouchPro patient monitor can only be assigned as a Send to Screen destination in the Send to Screen source #2 drop-down menu (the second drop-down). |
IMPORTANT: When scheduling the event, make sure that the room to which the displaying device has been assigned is used as the location of the scheduled simulation event. |
See the relevant description about scheduling an event.
Once an event is scheduled in a room that has a displaying device assigned and an SCE is assigned to it that contains the media, the uploaded media file will be available for display during the recording of the event.
NOTE: For the JUNO content to be displayable, it is sufficient to connect the JUNO simulator (with media content), no SCE, therefore no scheduling is required; the content will be displayable once the recording is started (manually). |
