Purpose: feedback about the Case (from the learner's perspective), quality assurance

This part provides means for collecting student feedback on a Case: based on the checklist setup, learners' opinion can be collected and utilized in Case management.
As it serves quality assurance purposes, responses for the Case Evaluation part do not count in learner scores.

Assigning Activity Evaluation Case

An Activity Evaluation Case within an Activity is for collecting learner feedback on the educational value of a specific Activity they participated in and is intended for quality assurance purposes.
Such a questionnaire may include (but is not limited to) questions about

  • the simulation/encounter,
  • the Case(s) that the learner had to complete,
  • the simulation environment,
  • the knowledge they are required to acquire and present,
  • any other factors that the institute intends to have feedback on.

It is recommended that the Activity evaluation checklist be prepared as the Case evaluation checklist of an independent Case, and then be assigned to the Activity via the Evaluation Case drop-down on the Basics tab of the Edit Activity pop-up window, when creating an Activity.
