3.2 Rooms with an activity
In this case, the Here, the rule of thumb is that the Video Control user can only access rooms if s/he is a member of the faculty group of the activity.

If a Video Control user tries to access a room where there is an activity scheduled but not a member of the faculty group, the room appears as "Not Available!" on Center Overview, and s/he cannot enter EXCEPT
In this case, the Video Control user is limited to controlling the recording in the room (start, play/pause, Go live!, stop) and cannot add annotations or adjust the Record control panel. |

Notes for Automatic Video Recodings Recordings are performed automatically: a. when RNSA easy login is set in a room and video start and stop triggers are set in Activities OR b. when an event booked in a room is created with Scheduling and has a timeslot structure that controls the video recordings In these cases, the Video Full Control and Video Control users still have access to the recording controls, but only need to intervene if necessary. |
4. Live Video
Live Video privilege is designed to view running recordings without having access to the Start and Stop record controls.
- privilege to view all rooms at all times EXCEPT for rooms that are currently being used as part of a scheduled event
- during a scheduled event, the room is available for a Live Video privilege user who is a member of the group for which the event is scheduled
- privilege to view live video on the Center Overview and Single Room View screens and make annotations in Single Room View, however, no access to camera controls
