5. FON Data Entry
The user granted this privilege is responsible for Faculty Observation and Narrative (FON) data entry.
The system enables FON users to view the live recordings of learners and to submit the FON data entry checklist at the same time.
To have access to the Data entry panel during live recording:
- the activity, case, learner group, and at least one learner needs to be added on the Record control panel (automatically, if using Scheduling or by Admin, Video Control or Video Full Control)
- FON user needs to be a faculty member of the activity added or scheduled to the room
- the case assigned to the activity needs to contain a Faculty Observation and Narrative (FON) checklist
The name(s) of the learner(s) who is\are currently being recorded will be displayed at the bottom of the Record control panel.
During recording, the FON data entry user cannot modify anything on the Record control panel (not even adding or removing learners).
- privilege to view all rooms at all times EXCEPT for rooms that are currently being used as part of a scheduled event
- during a scheduled event, the room is only available for a FON Data Entry privilege user who is a member of the group for which the event is scheduled
- privilege to view live video on the Center Overview and Single Room View screens and make annotations in Single Room View, however, no access to camera controls
