Recordings are performed automatically when: a. RNSA login has been set in a room and video start and stop triggers have been defined in Activities OR b. an event booked in a room has been created with Scheduling and has a timeslot structure that controls the video recordings The above settings will be altogether called referred to as automatic recordings in the guide. Automatic recordings may block certain functionalities that otherwise would be available. |

This privilege has certain restrictions compared to Video Full Control.
3.1 Rooms without RNSA or any previously added activity added
Users with this privilege have full access to rooms where there is no activity added yet.

- Can add any activity s/he is assigned to as a faculty member
- Have control over the Record control panel
- Control the recording of the activity s/he added
- Add annotations to the recordings
3.2 Rooms with where RNSA is set up or an activity is added by another user
Here, the rule of thumb is that the Video Control user can only access rooms if s/he is a member of the faculty group of the activity.
