If a Video Control user tries to access a room where an activity is already added, but the user is not a member of the activity's faculty group, the room appears as "Not Available!" on Center Overview, and s/he cannot enter.

(warning) There is an exception when the Video Control user can access the room of an activity even if they are not assigned to it as faculty:

  • if the activity is added by another user (Admin or Video Full Control) to the room using the Record control panel 

In this case, the Video Control user is limited to controlling the recording in the room (start, play/pause, Go live!, stop) and but cannot add annotations or adjust the Record control panel.
