Important Note about Automatic Recodings

Recordings are performed automatically when:

a. RNSA login has been set in a room and video start and stop triggers have been defined in Activities

OR

b. an event booked in a room has been created with Advanced Scheduling and has a timeslot structure that controls the video recordings

The above settings will be altogether referred to as automatic recordings in the guide. Automatic recordings may override certain functionalities that otherwise would be available.

If a Live Video user tries to access a room where an activity is already added, but the user is not a member of the activity's faculty group, the room appears as "Not Available!" on Center Overview, and s/he cannot enter it

 There is an exception when the Live Video user can access the room of an activity even if they are not assigned to it as faculty:

• if the activity is added by another user (Admin, Video Full Control or Video Control) to the room using the Record control panel 

 In this case, the Live Video user can pause/play, click Go live!  but cannot add annotations.
