titleSpecial Access to Rooms for Live Video and FON Data Entry Users

If a Live Video or FON Data Entry users try to access a room where an activity is already added, but not as members of the activity's faculty group, the room appears as "Not Available!" on Center Overview, and they cannot enter.

(warning) There is an exception when the Live Video or FON Data Entry user can access the room of an activity even if they are not assigned to it as faculty:

  • if the activity is added by another user (Admin, Video Full Control or Video Control) to the room using the Record control panel 

(tick) In this case, the Live Video user can pause/play, click Go live!   , can add annotations, but cannot add annotationssave them.

(tick) FON Data Entry users can do data entry, pause/play the recording and , Go live!, add annotations and even save them as presets.
