    1. Visit Barcode to PC's website and go to Download.

    2. Select the relevant option to download the application.

      The computer will function as a "server" where the Barcode to PC desktop client is running. Your smartphone can connect to the server computer after installation.

      Download the desktop client to the computer where you will access the Inventory manager.

      Note

      You can download Barcode to PC for free to as many devices as you need, but a paid license is tied to the device where it was activated. You can transfer an existing license to another computer by first deactivating it.

      Continue with the setup until you have scanned some items and detected users in the Inventory module to find out if this solution is the right fit for your training center. Apply Barcode to PC's free license: the free plan—at the time of publication of this guide—offers 300 scans per month from 1 connected smartphone.

    4. Launch the setup file once downloaded. 

    5. Review and accept the Licence Agreement to continue.

      The application will launch automatically if you leave the checkbox selected.
