General Video Upload Details for Administrators

The latest editions of CAE LearningSpace Enterprise, Essentials, and Intuity platforms allow for videos recorded outside of CAE LearningSpace to be uploaded and made available for review in the Video Review module. 

Note

In CAE LearningSpace Essentials and CAE LearningSpace Intuity, only Admin users can upload videos recorded outside the central management system.  

Upload videos of Learner/SP encounters recorded with video conferencing platforms such as Zoom, GoToMeeting, etc. 

  1. Allow Learners to record themselves performing a procedure or task.  

  2. The Learners would then make those videos available to the Admins to be uploaded. 

  3. Select an activity, case, and assign a learner before uploading a video.

    Important

    Video uploading does not start unless every category is specified.

  4. Then drop or select the video you would like to upload, and processing will automatically start:
     


  5. The Video Review module will inform you about the successful upload. 
  6. The videos can then be used for Peer Review, Self-Review, and FON evaluation. 



Other Options in the Video Review Module

Only Admin users can:

Delete a selected recording.

Lock a selected recording or

Unlock a recording if the recording is locked already.

New: Video Upload Permission for Non-Admin Users in CAE LearningSpace Enterprise

Important

Video upload for non-admin users is available exclusively in CAE LearningSpace Enterprise.


From now on, you can allow users with specific privileges—Learners, SPs, FON Data Entry, and Report Reviewer (basic and full control) users—to upload videos to running activities. Up to now, only users with Admin privilege could upload videos in the Video Review module.

The video upload button will be added to the Video Review module in the user accounts of these privileges. Only, the video upload button will remain deactivated  until the users are permitted to upload videos to at least one specific activity.
