Video Review

Find every scenario you have captured with your LearningSpace system in the Video Review module. 

The module lists every saved recording individually. A recording contains

• the footage of every installed camera,
• the waveform of any simulator, or
• the data of any medical device added to the room where the scenario was recorded.
• The system also saves the settings of the Record control panel and annotations. 

The date of creation, length, and size (in MB) of a recording is always displayed.
The system can draw further details about a recording from its Record control panel settings—such as

•  the room the recording was created in,
• the people included in the video,
• the related Activity, Case
• and even the cumulative scores of learners' existing data entry.

Locked videos

Video recordings can be locked by Admin users with the help of the lock icon at the bottom of the page.

Locked videos cannot be deleted manually or by the system during the automatic video delete process - after 30/60/90 days, as set on the General tab of the System manager:

SP/Faculty/Simulator display

The SP and Faculty (FON) or Simulator column display can be enabled in the General tab with the following General Settings Checkboxes:

•  Show SP and FON names on video review
•  Show simulator names on video review

Single Room View 

1. Click on a recording to open it for review: you will be redirected to the (Single) Room View of the recording.
2. The recording automatically launches and displays the streams of every camera that was used in the recording.
3. You can also view the Recording setup (Information panel) and Annotations that were added during the real-time recording. 
   
   

Features

Other features are available to users without Admin privilege. User access to certain features depends on the user's Privileges:

 Print the detailed report of the selected recording(s).

Upload data logs of simulators or other medical devices to the selected recording(s). 
 The button is inactive until at least one recording is selected.

Download a selected video recording. 
 The button is inactive until a recording is selected. The button becomes inactive again if more than one recording is selected: only one recording can be downloaded at a time, but you can download it as a zip file.

 Edit the Activity or Case of the selected recording(s).

Give a Title to a recording.

Privileges to access Video Review

Report Reviewer (full control)

• Access to recordings of Activities where the user is added as Faculty (i.e. recordings assigned to an Activity)

  To access recordings previously not assigned to any Activity, create a mock Activity with mock Case and add these recordings to it. 

  
  Activity Assignment settings do not apply to this user. If added to the Faculty group of an Activity, a user with Report Reviewer (full control) privilege has access to every learner recording of the Activity regardless of the evaluator-evaluee subgroups. 
  
  

• Search by keywords, use column filters and can extend the keyword search to event logs and annotations
• Use the Record Control panel to assigning or modify the Activity/Case or add/remove learners or SPs subsequently to the record creation
• Add titles to recordings they are assigned to in an Activity
• Add annotation(s) to a selected recording subsequently to the creation of the recording
• Print the Video Report of the available recordings
• Download available recordings
  If multiple footages are saved inside one recording, the user can download each video footage separately or in a bundle.
• Upload data logs to a selected recording

Report Reviewer

• Access the recordings of Activities where the user is added as Faculty
  Activity Assignment settings apply to this user and affect which learner recording the report reviewer has access to. Manage the settings of the Activity's evaluator-evaluee subgroups to modify this user's access to recordings.
• Search by keywords, use column filters and can extend the keyword search to event logs and annotations
• Print the Video Report of the available recordings
• Download available recordings
  If multiple footages are saved inside one recording, the user can download each video footage separately or in a bundle.
• Add annotation(s) to a selected recording subsequently to the creation of the recording

Default Report reviewer access setup in Reports

FON Data Entry

• Access the recordings of Activities where the user is added as Faculty
• Complete Data Entry for Activities shared with the user 
  Activity Assignment settings apply to this user and affect which learner the FON user has access to view the learner's recording and submit her FON checklist.
  Manage the settings of the Activity's evaluator-evaluee subgroups to modify this user's access to learner data entry.
• Print the Video Report of the available recordings
• Add annotation(s) to a selected recording subsequently to the creation of the recording

Learner

• Review recordings about themselves
   Only if the learner is assigned to the recording via the Record control panel and access to Video Review is granted for learners in the Learner access tab of the Reports tab of the Activity.
  By default, the access options to reports and video review are not enabled for learners when a new Activity is created:

  If recording download is granted for the learners of the Activity in the Learner access tab of the Reports tab of the Activity
• Print the Video Report of the recordings about themselves

SP

• Review recordings about themselves
   If the SP is assigned to the recording via the Record control panel
• Print the Video Report of the recordings about themselves
• Add annotations to recordings about themselves
