Click Recording on the Dashboard to enter the recording module of the CAE LearningSpace system.

The You land on the Center Overview (CO) screen opens, where you can see live video or audio feeds from of all the rooms available in your system.

NOTE: If your system is a single-room configuration, the Recording icon navigates directly to the room view.

1. Admin

Users with Admin privilege can view all Rooms every Room at all times and can access all functions of the Center Overview and Single Room View.

(lightbulb)Important Note about Automatic Video Recodings

Recordings are performed automatically when:

a. when RNSA  RNSA easy login is has been set in a room and video start and stop triggers are set have been defined in Activities, which primarily control the recording

OR

b. when an event booked in a room is has been created with Scheduling and has a timeslot structure that controls the video recordings

The above settings described in a. and b. are collectively referred to as automatic recording in the guide.In these cases, the Video Full Control and Video Control users still have access to the recording controls, but only need to intervene if necessarywill be altogether called automatic recordings in the guide. Automatic recordings may block certain functionalities that otherwise would be available.

2. Video Full Control

  • Has access to every room available at Center Overview in Recording
  • Can control recording in all rooms (start, play/pause, Go live!, stop)
  • Allowed to edit the Record control panel: add or modify activities \ cases \ groups \ learners \ SPs except when automatic recording is in progress.
  • Can add annotations any time

3. Video Control

This privilege has certain restrictions compared to Video Full Control.

  • Can control recording in the rooms (start, play/pause, Go live!, stop)
  • Edit the Record control panel: add or modify activities \ cases \ groups \ learners \ SPs except when automatic recording is in progress.
  • Can add annotations

4. Live Video

Live Video privilege is designed to view running recordings without having access to the Start and Stop record controls.
