Create Sessions inside a Cast sheet to determine the start and end date of a single training event or multiple synchronous simulated patient encounters

Sessions are important in determining the date and time of the Cases  - representing simulated patient encounters -  that were added to the Sessions.

  • Edit the details of the Sessiondate and title—in the header:

  • Set up the date and time of a Session with the built-in date picker:

Note

Valid Session date is a prerequisite for SP Recruitment. While you can continue with adding Cases without the date of the Session being set up, the+ Recruit SP option stays inactive until a date has been selected from the date picker:

Similar to events, Sessions cannot take longer than a day: A Session must start and end on the same day.

Note

Sessions are not identical to events and cannot be connected in any way to existing Calendar or Advances Scheduling events.

Note

The SPA module will not let you book concurrent or partially overlapping Sessions.

In case your new Session coincides with any existing Session within the same Cast sheet, you will be warned to pick another time and date:
