Can I transfer the license to another computer?
The license is tied to the computer where you activate it.
If you want, you can move a license from a computer to another by first deactivating it from the previous computer.
Download Barcode to PC to Your Desktop
- Visit Barcode to PC's website and go to Download.
Select the relevant option to download the application.
The desktop application will function as a "server" that your smartphone can connect to.Download the desktop application to the computer or device where you will use the Inventory manager.
You can download Barcode to PC for free to as many devices as you need, but the licensed application is tied to the device where it was activated.
- Launch the setup file once it downloaded.
Review and accept the Licence Agreement to continue.
Wait until the installation process finishes.
Click Finish once the setup is complete.
The application will launch if you leave the checkbox selected.
Connect Your Smartphone
- Download the Barcode to PC application to your smartphone from the Play Store or App Store.
- Open the application on your smartphone.
Your smartphone should immediately connect to your desktop device.

- Your computer and your smartphone are connected to the same network.
It doesn’t matter if your computer
has a wired connection as long as it is plugged into the same access point where your smartphone is connected.
