This tab contains the list of all roles on the left side, while all the privileges are displayed in blocks according to the types of access they may grant.
There are predefined and customized roles, listed respectively in that order.
Predefined roles (italicized for distinction): can be readily used but cannot be modified unless a copy is made.
NOTE: When clicking on a predefined role:
- the title field will only offer the 'copy' icon, that is, the role can only be copied,
- all privileges on the right side will appear in gray except for those assigned to the role at hand (that is, no modification can be made)
Customized roles: can be freely defined by the user or later copied, modified as required or deleted if not needed.
NOTE: If a selected privilege or combination of privileges corresponds to an already existing or predefined role, a message will appear informing the user about it with the name of the identical role.
IMPORTANT: A role that has been assigned to even only one user cannot be deleted.
