Activities can be arranged into Cabinets (filing system) according to deparments, classes, issues, etc.

You can create new Cabinets to manage your Activities, in the Cabinets panel of the Activities tab, as described below:

Only users with Admin or Activity Manager privileges will see the Activities icon on the Dashboard home screen.
  1.  In the Activities module, click the New button in the Cabinets panel.

The Cabinet Settings pop-up window appears.

By default, the Activities tab is displayed when the Cabinet Settings pop-up window opens.

2. Type the name of the Cabinet in the Cabinet name field at the top.

IMPORTANT: If the cabinet is not provided with a title, it will NOT be saved, regardless of what changes are made in the Edit Cabinet pop-up window.

Place the new cabinet within another one by selecting the parent cabinet from the Place in drop-down menu.

(lightbulb) If the NEW button in the Cabinets panel on the main Activities screen is clicked after highlighting an already existing cabinet, the system automatically sets the highlighted cabinet as the parent cabinet. This setting can be withdrawn by clicking the X in the Place in field.

3. Add Activities as desired by starting to type their title in the Add Activity field.

4. On the Share tab, grant or withdraw access by adding or deleting groups and/or users in the CAN READ ONLY and CAN READ AND WRITE panels.

If a user has Read Only access to a cabinet, it is indicated with a padlock icon-index at the cabinet node in the Cabinets panel on the Activity Manager screen.
If a user has no access to the cabinet, the cabinet is listed grayed and is indicated with a none icon-index at the cabinet node.

Providing read and write access to an Activity Cabinet allows users to edit ONLY the Cabinet shared with them.
However, it
does not automatically grant access to the Activities included in it.
Read and write access to the Activities needs to be granted on Activity-level (see Share tab of the Edit Activity pop-up).

Once read (or read and write) access has been granted to an Activity, the affected user can access it even if they have no (or only read) access to the Cabinet containing it.

7. Saving any change is automatic, you can close the Cabinet Settings window.
