System Manager

The System module contains tools and resources to manage your entire CAE LearningSpace system.

System Manager

Users with the System Manager privilege can access all functions and settings within the System module.

• General for managing the general setting of the system
• Local Settings for accessing time and language options
• Security for configuring access and server settings
• Directory Access Settings for setting up LDAP login and to prepare user synchronization
• Emails for setting up email templates and the SMTP server to send messages
• Intercom for managing existing and adding new intercom announcements
• Stations for adding computers as stations and determining their type
• Rooms for managing rooms
• Simulators for connecting simulators and wireless bridges
• Cameras for setting up system cameras
• Auto-texts for managing educational prescriptions
• Units for setting units of measure (for resources)
• Downloads for selecting available downloads
• Central Server for customized video upload to CAE LearningSpace systems

Room Manager

Users with this privilege have access to the Rooms tab:

• Manage rooms:
  Add connected workstations, cameras, other devices and intercom endpoint to each room.
• Assign Running Non-Scheduled Activities (RNSA) to rooms:
  To have access to activities, the user has to be a member of the assigned Faculty group of the activity.
• Add new rooms.
• Define and manage locations.
