To remove a subgroup under Assignments, within the Edit Activity pop-up, click the trash bin 
icon in the bottom right corner of the subgroup.
NOTE: Deleting a subgroup will not delete both groups assigned to one another, only all members of that subgroup and also the name of the subgroup.
To remove members of the subgroups: click the red 
on the right edge of the assigned individual or group.
